Centrifugal Pumps

Vertical Turbine

Overview
Description
Specifications

Vertical Turbine (VT) is a Submerged pump and permanent magnet motor assembly. As a result, it allows for quick response in pumping and minimal product loss. It features an active thrust balancing system. This results in greater stability and longer life with lower maintenance requirements. It is VFD compatible which allows for a broad range of operation. The pump is all aluminum construction and driven by a permanent magnet motor. The pump is specially designed with a “Submerged” motor installed in a vacuum jacketed suction vessel “sump” or fixed in-tank.

Features & Benefits

  • Highly efficient, over 70%  lower operating costs & heat input into the fluid
  • Modular design, 60 PSI/stage
  • Active thrust balancing system for extended bearing life
  • High efficiency hydraulics with extremely low NPSHR inducer
  • Lightweight and compact
  • Special design VFD drive provides operation point control over the entire pump operating range
  • Quick electrical disconnect for ease of maintenance
